During Aircooled Wanroij, Sunday will be anything but a standard Sunday. Forget going home early and packing your camping gear. This day is all about the origins of our hobby. We bring the German roots to Wanroij and make it an unforgettable day: Verrückte Sonntag!
What can you expect?
- Bratwurst: enjoy the most delicious German delicacies.
- Lederhosen & Dirndl: put on your best traditional outfit.
- Schlager music: sing along and dance to the best German hits.
In addition, you can take a unique photo in German style. Perfect as a memory of this great weekend!
There is also an exciting treasure hunt for the children. Every child who participates will receive a nice present, and at the end of the afternoon they will have a chance to win one of three (miniature) Beetles!
Top 5 ‘Best of Show’
This year, the top 5 will take place during Verrückte Sonntag. The most beautiful cars will be lined up, ready to be admired. Everyone can participate and pre-registration is not necessary! The public jury will judge the vehicles and determine the Top 5, as well as the winner of the coveted title “Best of Show”.
Award ceremony and beetle raffle
During Verrückter Sonntag there is also a grand awards ceremony.
